Daytime Bakery Operations Team
The Sanitation Team at Seven Stars Bakery is responsible for keeping the bakery clean. This includes floors using a broom mop and bucket, washing windows, walls and ceiling tiles by hand and removing trash/recyclables/compost. You will be operating an automatic dishwasher for washing dishes, sheet pans, small wares and other items as needed. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restroom, break room and offices. You need lots of energy and the ability to work in a hot, humid environment for an 8 hour shift.
This shift starts as early as 5:00am
Availability on Weekends & Holidays – are required!
Job Qualifications:
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work independently as well as with a team
- Able to work at a fast pace to keep up with the production schedule
- Good problem solving skills
- Able stand for up to 8 hours a day
- Clean and organized
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance, multiple times a day
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work, as public transportation may not be available during all working hours
- Must be at least 18 years old
This is an non-exempt hourly position. Pay rates start at $16/hr commensurate with experience.
